Your available time is fixed from a single weekly timetable, accessible in the « Other » tab. This timetable applies to each week in your agenda:
This information enables MeoTempo to calculate the free time you have left each day, week, month, year (hmm… we haven't been able to calculate it for your life). The example shows that there are 50m left today, 2h45m tomorrow, 2h35m* this week and 162h** this month:
If you have chosen a specific time period, the free time you have left is recorded to the right of the equation which you can see in the upper left hand corner of the Organisation tab. The example shows that there are 2h22m left in the week of August 31 to September 6:
MeoTempo calculates time by adding the duration of all the events associated with each activity. For example, the national park project has events on Thurs. Fri. and Mon.:
The result is presented as an equation, ie the time in the agenda equals the sum of the time done plus the time to do. For example, the total duration of the events associated with the the national park project is 22h27m in the agenda, of which 15h07m are done and 7h20m still to do.
In other words, done and to do times in the agenda are calculated from the events associated with it. For example, in the national park project, the feedback on the meeting of 4h00m and the visit to the park 3h20m total 7h20m to do:
MeoTempo also shows you the duration of all your events. The result is presented as an equation, which you can see in the upper left hand corner of the Organisation tab. The example shows that all the events have a total duration of 151h, of which 95h2m are done and 56h35m are left to do.
You can also obtain this information for a specific time period of your choice.
Note that time is only attributed to events and cannot be attributed directly to an activity. In other words, the time attributed to an activity comes solely from the events associated with it.
